Our Mission

What is
Osteopractic?

Our mission at Empower Osteopractic PT & Wellness is based off of our motto to heal, educate, strengthen, Empower, and thrive.  We want to provide individualized services to help our patients heal, provide education and knowledge on their current condition, guide them through their strengthening programs to build a solid foundation, and empower each and every individual with the necessary skills and confidence to thrive and return to living their best lives.

OSTEOPRACTIC is a subspecialty in physical therapy that identifies a particular skill-set and education possessed by the treating therapist.

An OSTEOPRACTOR is a physical therapist, medical doctor, or doctor of osteopathic medicine that has completed an extensive, evidence-based post-graduate training program in manual therapy for the diagnosis and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy.

Only after completing the intensive training program consisting of the Dry Needling series, Spinal Manipulation series, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Extremity Manipulation and Differential Diagnosis & Multi-Modal Management as well as passing strict written and practical exams for each, will a clinician earn the Diploma in Osteopractic and be able to call themselves an Osteopractor.

Dan grew up in Cherry Hill and, after practicing in PA for the first 6 years, has worked in the South Jersey area for the past couple of years.

He graduated from the University of Delaware in 2008 with my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Exercise Science (concentration in Exercise Physiology) and minors in Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, and Coaching Science.  He then continued his studies at the University of Delaware to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2010.

After a few years of practice, he became a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2015.

He has recently completed my fellowship training in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy under the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT), which is one of the highest-leveled credential a physical therapist can earn in the field.

He made the move back to South Jersey in 2016 and has been collaborating with numerous physicians in the area including Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pain and Spine, Neurologists, etc.

Dan and his wife, Amanda, currently reside in Cherry Hill with their 4 children.  In his spare time, you can find him on the soccer pitch playing in a competitive men's league, working out, watching Philly sports, coaching his children's various sports teams, and spending quality time with friends and family.
